As much as we love the Southwest, it is always so wonderful to get back to Colorado. This year in particular, has turned the Rockies into a gorgeous verdant wonderland of color. We enjoyed our time here. The western part of the lake is quite populated with RV parks, motels, cabins and restaurants. The eastern shore has several campgrounds. It was very full when we got here. We were happy to find a place. Although the campsite didn't have a great view, it did have an osprey nest in it and was close to the water's edge and hiking paths. The pictures speak for themselves.
